The South African Sheriff is a Non-Governmental officer of the Court and broadly speaking, tasked to render a service to the Court and to the public. The Sheriff Bloemfontein West is a member of the South African Sheriff Society (SASS) which is a voluntary sheriff’s organization of choice.

Our Vision

To be an effective cog in the legal framework, rendering prompt service and thereby being part of a society of Sheriffs founded on mutual tolerance, respect, understanding, integrity, openness, diversity and gender equality.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be an important, effective and impartial role player within the Civil Justice System of South Africa. Thereby promoting the status of the Sheriff’s fraternity through a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
